An adventure to Costa Rica with the Barka Tribe
I met up with the Barka Tribe— a group of international pet photographers that share the same passion for animals, photography and travel — in Manuel Antonio for another workshop to improve our craft as pet photographers. This adventure included monkeys, sloths, kittens and… of course, DOGS!
One of my favorite photo sessions of all time was on this trip – the beach in Manuel Antonio. The sunset was amazing and the dogs had such a fun time running on the beach and through the water.
I could relive this day over and over. Check out the barka-puparazzi!
We stayed Casas de las Brisas, an amazing villa and perfect for a Barka retreat.
We visited a local rescue PAWS to photograph rescue dogs in hopes to help them find their forever homes. So many puppies, so little time!
And, (at the last-minute) Christine Crosby of Sunlight Inspirations decided to adopt a dog that she fell in love with at the rescue.
This is Coco. Christine got all the papers and vet visits done and transported Coco home with her to Oregon just a few days later. Dogs leave paw prints on our hearts!
Who knows where the next adventure will bring me? I am so grateful for this experience. My heart is full.
